I am a former MMORPG junky and fanatic. I first played Asheron's Call back when it was one of three MMO's up until LotR release. Until the genre can get its head out of its a*s, not one more dollar from me.
(I am currently in another beta and its more of the same, less MMO style gameplay MORE console but with kill task)
I still have a lot of hope for the genre, I'm just not willing to fund their "experiments" anymore after 4 years of disappointments. The first 2 years were great fun though
